EPIC is the student ministry of Agape Baptist Church located in Pinson, AL.
Our ministry is built on 4 foundational characteristics:
- We are to ENCOURAGE each other in Christ
- We are to PRAISE the glory of Christ
- We are to be INTENTIONAL in our pursuit of Christ
- All because we are CALLED to a unique purpose for Christ
Our mission verse for 2011 is Isaiah 60:1-3
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light…” Isaiah 60:1-3
This verse leads us into the Exodus Challenge, which is our mission focus for 2011. Acknowledging that there are nightmares happening to people all over the world right now and the Gospel demands our response, we declare that we will stand for those who cannot stand for themselves.
