Hello all,
I have good news – the high Sunday should be in the 80s, and it will be sunny – the perfect day for a visit to the park! (see below). I have better news!! Though many in the past have tried to put down the joyful goodness of sex (in marriage), and have tried to place heavy restrictions and requirements on Christians – the fact of the matter is that the Bible is very much against useless religious ideals and is very much in favor of marriage and married people enjoying each other in intimate ways! ;) This Sunday’s message will focus on some of the false teaching that had infiltrated the church in Ephesus with heavy religious instructions concerning food and abstinence that were drawing the people away from Jesus. Paul set them straight by pointing to Godliness, which just happens to be very different from religion. What does it all mean for us today? Come join us Sunday at 10am for breakfast first – then worship, and then a freeing Bible passage discussion.
Don’t forget that next Sunday, April 10, we will be voting on changes to the bylaws. We will hand those out this Sunday, and will have a question and answer time next Sunday before the vote. We will also post the proposed bylaws on our website shortly. Please submit your questions via email or text over the next week, and we will cover them together Sunday the 10th.
As mentioned earlier – it will be a great day to go to the park. So bring some park clothes Sunday (or better yet – wear them Sunday morning) and join us for fun and games at a local part after our Sunday morning gathering. All are invited.
